An apparently undescribed species close to Oligoporus ptychogaster, but differing in the well-developed fruitbodies and the imperfect (Ptychogaster) stage which is reddish-brown and weeps reddish droplets. It has been found in Surrey and Berkshire and is apparently restricted to Taxus.
