Review (by Malcolm Storey)

Decribes the anatomy, nomenclature, functioning and dissection of lepidoptera genitalia, with emphasis on macro-lepidoptera.

Rather dated in terms of suppliers and some of the chemicals chosen (eg KOH is nowadays used in preference to NaOH, at least in the UK). It also fails to mention inflating the vesica or treatment of any special structures on the male abdomen. Nevertheless it is a good starting point for those wishing to pursue this avenue.
