Survey of the 14 spp of land flatworms known in the British Isles at the time. [We have only 3 or 4 natives: the rest have been brought in with imported plants and garden centres continue to aid their spread.]

The identification section consists of short descriptions acompanied by excellent colour photographs. Distribution maps are shown for the four commonest species.
