Sedges of the British Isles
The third edition of this standard work is greatly expanded: in scope (to include distribution maps, full descriptions of hybrids, and covering the whole of the Cyperaceae), in format (from 18x12cm to 21x15cm), and number of pages (from 268 to 554).
With the larger format and at more than twice the thickness it no longer slips unobtrusively into the bag.
