Review (by Malcolm Storey)

Account of the fungi found in Scottish pinewoods over a long period.

Lists species of agarics associated with Caledonian Pine and birch in the Highlands and also from other habitats found within these woods.

Suggests that ten years of monitoring is required to build up a comprehensive inventory of a site, since some species fruit only rarely.
