Review (by Malcolm Storey)C. 53% of fungivorous insects that feed on bracket fungi are monophagous. The monophagous species are good taxonomists, being faithful to the DNA-based classification rather than the older morphological schemes, while the polyphagous species tend to use brackets that are already well decayed.
