Review (by Malcolm Storey)

The second of four volumes on Aphidoidea. The Drepanosiphidae, as here understood, includes many of our common tree aphids.

The key to subfamilies follows the introductory chapters. This is followed by the subfamily sections with keys to tribes, genera and species followed by the species accounts. Separate keys are given for apterous, alate females and other forms, eg dimorphs (aestivating nymphs), as appropriate.

The distribution tables include Great Britain. Most species are host-specific and the host plants are given, often by country.

Examine Compound Microscope ( Stereo Microscope is also useful)
