Review (by Malcolm Storey)

Studies in Switzerland showed that the Horse Chestnut leaf-miner mined Sycamore leaves to a varying extent, some trees being more susceptible than others, but most Sycamores in the vicinity of infected Horse Chestnuts were attacked.

Over 70% of the larvae in Sycamore died in the first two instars.
