Covers two species of Septoria (and allies) on each of Hebe (Kirramyces hebes & Septoria exotica) and Veronica (Septoria veronicae & Pseudocercospora veronicicola (=Septoria veronicicola) ).

Key to species on Hebe ss. (ie excluding Veronica):

1. Lesions brown, 7-12mm diam, conidia pale brown, verruculose with truncate bases Kirramyces hebes
- Lesions black, 1-3(4)mm diam, conidia hyaline, smooth, with acute bases Septoria exotica
Septoria veronicae and veronicicola are the only Septoria spp. described from Veronica ss. S. veronicicola is transferred to Pseudocercospora of which there are several other species on this host (these are listed but not considered in detail).

Examine Compound Microscope ( with a Microscope using 100x oil-immersion is also useful)
