| Review (by Malcolm Storey) | Distinguished from var. berkleyanum by the larger and more delicately warted spores. In the present species they are subglobose, 10-11 µm diam., very densely, minutely and delicately warted, the warts clustered and best observed on the horizon of the spore. |
