The drawings are beautifully executed and scientifically accurate. For each species she depicts the whole plant in situ, a portion in close-up, and the flower, fruit and seed. There are also numerous detail drawings such as leaf, petal, sepals, flower section or other dissections, stem segment and section, seed surface detail etc. |
