Review (by Malcolm Storey)

A colour guide to the leaf miners of Europe.

Host plant genera are listed in alphabetical order. One or more leaf miners is featured for each with a short species account and one or more photographs showing mine, larva, pupa, adult etc. The photographs are generally superb, particularly the larvae which have been extracted from the mines.

The format doesn’t quite work as many miners are oligophagous so are likely to be found on other genera.

Dual text, in Hungarian and English.
