Lichen feeding preferences of gastropods: Cochlodina cerata (non-British) and Lehmannia marginata on Parmelia s.l.

Parmelia sulcata, P. saxatilis, Parmelina tiliacea, Melanelixia glabratula, M. subaurifera and M. glabra are at least partly protected by secondary metabolites (lichen substances) while Melanohalea exasperata and M. exasperatula, with no 2ary metabolites, were not.
